Drouthy Neebors

Saturday nights round our way tend to follow a regular pattern. They have done so for many, many years now; probably around 20 years or so now in fact.

Good friends and acquaintances have come and gone for various reasons, good and bad, but over the two decades we've had this same pair of drouthy neebors keeping us company on a Saturday night. Introduced to us initially as friends of friends, over time and over numerous ructions amongst our circle of other friends they've been a constant throughout. They're good neebors so they are.

Talking tonight, about blipfoto (as the owner of these tattoos has become a bit of a blurker on here) amongst many other things, including the holiday we have planned together at the end of this month, I realised that, if all goes to plan, my 365th blip will fall during this time away. Not a huge problem by any means in the bigger scheme of things, but it did have me checking the the state of the internet connection at he rather remote cottage we'll be staying. That's what blip's done for me; not worried about anything much more than making sure I'm able to get my blips in on time.

The best of it is, it would seem that the very much rural area we are going to be in apparently has an internet connection that's around three times better than the one we're on here. What's that all about then?
