Fisherman's Blues

Down to the Meadows Festival at lunchtime to have a seat in the sun. Met the boy and had a beer or two (Harvest Sun - Williams Bros Brewing Co., Alloa) listening to a couple of the bands, then looked around the stalls and picked up a 7" copy of Fisherman's Blues. It's a fine tune and I remembered that it was played at a pal's brother's funeral (he really was a fisherman - a scallop fisherman living on Orkney). Strolled home before the rain pelted down.
In the evening went up the local school to see a Charity Blues Concert in aid of a leprosy project in Malawi. The main band (Blue Soul) were pretty good, playing 60s style electric blues a la Mike Bloomfield. And then they played Fisherman's Blues! Knock me down etc etc..
