Day 3 - California - San Francisco

Today we headed for San Francisco for a couple of days experiencing this great city. The weather hampered out efforts however with it raining for the entirety of day 1. Being Scottish we were surprisingly unprepared for such weather with us not taking any umbrellas, raincoats or tacky bin bag ponchos with us. We got heartily soaked because of this.

As an escape from the relentless rain we headed to San Francisco's Ferry Building for a wander and to see what wares we could purchase to bring home. The Ferry Building is an excellent place to pick up some high quality food stuffs. We left there with some excellent olive oil and balsamic vinegar - to which we will probably scoff with some nice V&C bread.
