349 [spider]

I wasn't sure what to blip tonight, but I had to read my meter and found this spider. A nippy beggar he was too, darting away every time I got the camera too close. I didn't hang around too long - I hate spiders when they've got knees!

At work, the oyster catcher's eggs have hatched - two of the three, at least. The other one has been abandoned. They're actually fascinating to watch - a seagull came swirling round so the Mum just plonked herself down on top of the chicks!
