One daze at a time...

Grave with a view

This may not be the most peaceful spot to rest in peace but I am sure that it suits Stephen and Mary fine.
They are still rocked by the gails and the mighty swell coming from the west.
They are the first obstacle that the wind and waves meet on a journey of several thousand miles. The elements have all the geological time in the world to get angry , as they leave Newfoundland on a nice cool sunny June morning, hoping to shortly encounter that "old continent" a few paces to the east.
By the time they reach the west coast of Mayo, they are seriously pissed off and there is no hiding it.
But Stephen and Mary have seen worse. Or to be more precise they have seen it all before, over and over again.

Time to pack the car now. With kids and kids toys and kids clothes and kids nappies and kids food and kids drinks and kids bottles.
Oh, and the faint smell of vomit from the trip over. I left all doors open for 3 days but the so-called mighty wind of the Atlantic is no match for a Finzy puke...
