Teaching them early

Allens Pond Massachusetts Audubon Sanctuary had a birding program today for home-schooled children. We introduced them to some of the local birds. The children were attentive, quiet, and respectful of the birds.

They are looking at a nesting piping plover and did not disturb the piping plover from the nest. They learned about an endangered species
