Aquilegia

Today has been a rubbish sort of day weather-wise. I'm supposed to be on a week's leave from work and so far this week we have managed to get out and do things. But today it's pouring with rain so I've done my parents' shopping and done some jobs at their house. The old (retired) one is fixing his toilet and has done his accounts and the ironing. We might make a break for it in half an hour or so and go to M&S!

Oh, so getting to the point of today's blip, I did notice this lovely bloom on my aquilegia that I planted in the garden about a month ago. It has survived the slugs and snails and one of the cats digging it up and has one flower and several buds on it so I'm rather pleased.
