Ok class listen up! Today a succinct lesson on audio inputs of a SONY HD film camera.

CH-2 is generally the favoured channel for wild track recording & sound fx (effects!)

CH-1 is the channel on which most voice recordings are undertaken.

Channels of course can be split with radio mic inputs/outputs linked to a mixer!

Anything else? Oh yes, I nearly forgot! Tomorrow I'm filming a charity Polo match and will be Director, Producer, Lead Cameraman, Sound Tech, Best Boy and Grip ... all rolled into one! The weather forecast is abysmal ... but I hope to record the thunder of many hooves!!
