Queen of Sweden

The rose bushes in the village were all replanted with David Austin roses a couple of years ago, and this is my favourite, Queen of Sweden. I took the photo in the morning when there was no sunshine, and although I took several more later on when it was brighter, this one looks best. I went out for about an hour getting more familiar with the camera so I feel fairly confident with the automatic settings now. My "Dummies" book has just arrived from Amazon so I'll have a good read of that tonight and perhaps try something more adventurous tomorrow.
