I suppose I could say something profound and wanky about the city and its vibrant buzzing energy created by the 17million* inhabitants who, despite living in such close proximity to one another, hold a passion for Cairo that is evident in every scuffle, beep and holler...

...but I wouldn't mean it. It's just a big shit-tip if you ask me.

Had a good day though. Went in late to work, buggered about on the internet directly under the air-con, and then headed off for a very nice two hour trip on a posh boat on the Nile with Larissa's colleagues; chatting, cracking jokes, sipping chilled wine, and scrabbling about to find shade from the ridiculously hot sun.
