365/33: Jamming

I spent the day in a recording studio filming a supremely talented bunch of jazz musicians making bassist/vocalist John Lester's fourth album - a collection of interesting cover songs (Pearl Jam, Tori Amos, The Cure) reinterpreted in authentic jazz styles. An astonishingly talented bunch of people - I'm really looking forward to editing the film for John's site.

Turns out this amazing mixing desk is the very same one that was used to record Bob Marley's "Exodus" album. When the engineer told me I got a bit giddy and gave the desk a little stroke.
