Flower with a rain drop

Something about this flower spoke to me as I walked passed it, rushing to get to my next appointment after work. I had to back up and take a picture.

Maybe it was the raindrop about to fall from its leaf. So close, but yet so far!

Maybe it was that the flower was a little bent over by the day's rain and wind but still bright in the shade.

Maybe it was because I needed to see a flower after a day spent inside, one unpleasant meeting and lots of intense spread sheeting.

It made me happy to see it. And all of a sudden I was smiling and the day was good.
