Life rescue line!

It was my second day shift today and very cold and raining the whole day. We went out to get lunch in the fire truck today and while we were at the shopping centre a person came up and said that a lady had locked her keys in the car with a 1 year old inside the car. We drove around to the car and used a coat hanger, a chisel and a screwdriver to unlock the car without breaking anything! The child was fine, it wasn't a hot day, it was just the grandmother that was really stressed! All turned out well in the end!

I had a look at our Blurb book of our Thailand holiday when I got home last night! It looks great! We are really happy with it, other than it taking ages to arrive!!! I can't wait to get going on the next one!!

Spence is in daycare tomorrow and Kaz and I have to go into the city so I can have a little procedure! So it will be up early and home hopefully in time to pick up Spence at 5. No nightshift tomorrow night, instead a lovely night at home in front of the fire!!

This image is of our Life Rescue Lines that we carry on the truck for high angle rescue. It is a kernamntle (kern - core and mantle - sheath) nylon rope, 13mm in diameter with a working load of 136kg maximum. We carry a 50metre length on all our primary appliances.
