Fruits of our Labour

Digitaldaze and I managed to enjoy our Edinburgh flat for the first time today! All the bolts and hooks were put away late last night, the furniture moved into place, and bowls placed on tables, so that this morning we were able to welcome our very first guest LadyFindhorn ! Her Ladyship accompanied us on a (very short) guided tour and kindly made the right noises of appreciation that proud new owners like to hear! We had a very nice chat over some tea and cakes, and for our part we feel that we have known each other for more than 100 blips!

The bowl in the shot is a ceramic piece by Derek Clarkson, apparently quite a well known English ceramicist which we bought in a charity shop yesterday, and the mirror is by Ikea. It's just nice to sit down for once and enjoy the fruits of our labour!
