St Andrews Castle

Family day out today, we went to St Andrews to visit the castle (again!), the cathedral and have a look at all the activity going on in the run up to next week's Open Championship.

This shot was taken from the top of St Rule's Tower at the cathedral, quite a climb at 158 spiral steps but the 3 biggest Bros all made it no problem. We had a picnic lunch in the grounds of the castle shown in the shot and then the boys had a paddle in the sea.

We then went for a walk around the Old Course which is a hive of activity with huge grandstands and marquees still being put up and many lorry loads of equipment being continually delivered. Chaos Daddy is coaching at the championships next weekend so he took the boys to see where he was going to be working at the swing zone and to the PGA tents. He's taking them back a couple of times during the practice rounds next week to see all the stars. If Bro 2 sees Tiger Woods he will be utterly delighted!
