Just perfect

Back blipped

This is when the holiday really begins. The sun fully and truly came out this morning while we took a lovely walk around Ardban, towards the southern tip of the Applecross Peninsula. Started the longish drive north and around the northern tip around lunch time but couldn't resist stopping at this veiwpoint to soak in the view and the sun. It was very windy and slightly baltic if you stepped out of the car to enjoy the view, so I chose to enjoy if from the comfort of the drivers seat.

There seemed to be lots of lovely villages along the road to Torridon but we already had a B&B booked at Shieldaig, so that's where we were headed. Had a nice dinner in town then ended the evening with a two hour walk (!?!) around the Shieldaig Peninsula. Needless to say it was longer than we anticipated but still lovely, and surprisingly few midges, which was a bonus!
