Golden Eagle

Wandering around a local art fair today, and I stumbled upon this tent raising money for Rocky Mountain Raptor Program with this golden eagle as the main attraction.

The funny thing is, I used to live just down the street from the program's facilities back over the turn of the century (HA! that's fun to say). For four years I lived nearby and rode my bike past the building on a semi-regular basis, but never bothered to peek my head inside. Here we are, years later, finally meeting face to face. Life, eh?
