Rainy Rooftops.

After a great night out on Friday we decided we'd stay at a B&B. It meant we could have a few drinks and not have to worry about driving home. This is the view we had from our window, looking over the rooftops all wet with heavy rain just 24 hours into the hosepipe ban!

Driving home later we could see that Thirlmere was getting some water that was running off the fells but this will have to keep up for a few weeks to get the water levels back up to what we really need.
