Ringing The Dinner Bell

First day in a 9 day summer camp! I'm back. No cell phone service, no wifi/Internet - it was truly relaxing and wonderful.

Before every meal, someone (usually 2 or 3) students are chosen to ring the dinner bell. Everyone gets a turn. We have 61 (11 - 13 years old) students, 12 mentors (college students that do the lion's share of the work), and 10 teachers. I taught Environmental Geology and Topographic Mapping. It was a wonderful 9 days and now I'm back blippin'!
