Sunny Sunday Afternoon

Beautiful sunny day in Edinburgh today. Finally got to the Warhol exhibition with my boyfriend and sis. We'd left it until now, thinking that we'd miss the Festival tourist rush.
But, our theory was rubbish and we found ourselves in 'post-Festival, week before it closes' craziness. (That was after we spent 30 mins trying to find a parking place!)
There was a huge queue to get in and some of the galleries were just too crammed to be able to look round at a relaxed pace. There were also too many guards around to sneak a Blip.

The bustling crowds, combined with the racket from the Silver Clouds installation didn't help my hangover at all and I didn't really enjoy the visit. Which is a shame, because it had the potential to be a great show. Oh well, we had a nice walk through Princes Street Gardens on the way back to the car.

Back home I cooked up a good old Sunday dinner, which was the perfect antidote to a stressful gallery visit (a very alien concept to me) and a bad hangover. So it wasn't all bad...
