My Aim is True

The very dear cappuccino

Well, I've done very little today. Listened to Wossy's last radio show. He had Tom Jones on, and i recall him having him on his Channel 4 show, and all of a sudden Tom was cool. Turns out that was in 1987. Blimey 23 years ago.

Popped out for a cappuccino mid afternoon. And came back 100 quid worse off. Blimey.

A lazy evening, diinner (stab, stab, hum, hum, ping*) and a glass of Chilean white (which seems to have been tastier at the tasting table this afternoon in the offie)

A right pair in the deli tonight. Came in for a few bottles of beer and asked the bloke if he'd open them. The bloke pointed out that he wasn't allowed to, so they pleaded to borrow the bottle opener so they could open them outside. They then got into a taxi. Blimey, how could they not last a taxi journey without a drink? The strange thing is, that although a trifle common, they were middle aged and fairly well dressed.

Not the most interesting blip. And not as entertaining as this charity shop sign.

Rounding off the evening watching Rich Hall's The Dirty South
