It's Switzerland so we're on a hill

Drove to Muotta Muragl and took the funicular railway up to 2,456m to have a walk in the Engadine overlooking St Moritz. Inge had said that after getting off the railway we could walk for 30 minutes (which David told us was "more or less" flat) to the end of a glacier. How cool would that be - getting your photo taken at the end of a glacier? Both the 30 minutes and the "more or less flat" turned out to be fanciful. As did the glacier although clearly a glacier had recently receded judging by the amount of scree debris left behind. Aye, global warming.

The views are staggering and well worth the price of the train and the trudging uphill.
