Little nut tree
Another crazy day at music summer school. Today we had another musician visit us. He was incredibly laid back and very good with the children. He played the Uilleann pipes and then produced an incredible Irish harp. It was made out of 5000 year old bog oak and based on an original meant to have been owned by Brian Boru, a Medieval Irish hero. The sound was astonishing - real hair raising back on the neck stuff. Sadly the hall is too dark to allow a good blip and I am a bit nervous about showing pictures of children when I haven't obtained permission.
So ..... today's pic is a little nut! A cobnut to be precise and its the first time this little tree has managed to produce any nuts - I've counted about 10! There's a touch of the Georgia o Keefe's about this too!
