Blipmania!

Well the sons are all safely gathered in and after I'd finished my music workshop (unbelievably exhausting, I must be mad), we all went for a walk out on the headland. Both Will (already a blipper)  and Joe (just graduated, proud mummy)  are excellent photographers - the object of their attention was a tiny but brilliantly coloured Cinnabar moth! Every time I tried to take a photo the wind blew and I missed him!

The music summer school - hmmm. We are stuck in a little village hall away from any greenery so by the end of the day the kids seriously need a run around! However, today was better and more focused - we started off with breathing and singing exercises followed by some serious singing. Some of the children have great voices and all are very in tune with traditional music. We had a great rendition of Whiskey in the Jar (!) and Black is the Colour ...  Christopher also did a mean Foggy Dew! We are now attempting to compose our own music and compiling a mini concert, You can see why a long walk was necessary after wards.

The lads have gone off to see Predator in the local cinema and I'm about to have  a nice cold glass of wine.
