Crabs

Sitting on a rocky outcrop gazing out at the Adriatic, on a hidden beach accessible only after a lengthy clamber down from the clifftop, Ildi and I watched with interest as little crabs appeared in the rock pools and scuttled about their business. The water was crystal clear, but the pools were lined with a rich red sediment.
