Trip to Rovinj

Today, we set off on a boat trip from the delightful harbour of Novigrad (shown in the photograph), not far from Umag, where we were staying, to Rovinj and the Limski Kanal. A wonderful day, although baking hot. Rovinj was beautiful, earning its name as the Croatian Venice. Bathing in the relatively cool, emerald waters of the Limski fjord was a high point of the trip.
