New Shoes

Is there anything more painful than shopping for back to school shoes? We have had to do ours early this year as a) Eldest Son needs them for sleepaway skate camp next week and b) then we are going on our holidays.

It turns out that Second Born is quite the shoe shopper, in that he tries on about 47 pairs giving a full, in depth critique of them all before discarding them on the shop floor. So, after so long I thought my head may explode, he decided on these ones which, naturally, were the most expensive of all the 47 different pairs he tried. But they ARE limited editions and have a very snazzy box where each shoe has its own drawer. Just what every 9 year old needs.....
