Beaches International Jazz Fest

The Beaches Jazz Fest is usually during the last weekend of July. They close Queen Street for I don't know how many blocks. I remember one year going for brunch with a friend before heading down there and I stuffed myself so full of cheeseboard I could barely move. Even the best Afro-Cuban Jazz musicians in the world, jamming live on stage, were of no help.

This year I stuck to eating a simple roasted yam.
