Looking for a friend

This peacock is on our friends farm...it is the only peacock there, but has many other friends to hang around with.

Apparently it's looking for a little 'companionship'...and has been getting pretty desperate and showing off it's feathers to the guinea hens on the farm. They aren't impressed.

I, however, would love to have caught it's beautiful feathers all spread but didn't have any luck today. Still, I loved how it's pretty colors just glowed in the sun!


update: I guess I should explain that the farm next door has a few peacocks that roam over to this farm, so this guy isn't really alone all of the time...didn't want to upset anyone! :)
