Through The Barricade.

This was taken on my post round, the beck (stream) is being diverted slightly and the old Victorian (I think) stonework is being replaced by these concrete thingamibobs. The row of houses either side of the road cannot get their cars near their homes for a month! Shopping must be difficult, especially for one of the ladies who I know has trouble getting around and usually gets her groceries delivered. It's also rather noisy from 7.30am and there's the smell of the machinery too, it's not very nice for the folks living there right now.
