Getting the hang of it.

Acorn Bank.

The in-laws came for a visit this afternoon and we decided to visit Acorn Bank, a National Trust property just a few minutes drive from here. It was a pleasant afternoon and after coffee and cake in the tea room we took a stroll around the gardens. At the far end are some bee hives which were very busy with bees flying to and fro and the gardens are full of apple trees, vegetable beds and lovely flowers. There's also a newt pond and we were lucky enough to see a couple swimming near the surface.

The walk along to the watermill is through the woods and here is where I caught Graeme walking with his parents, Barry and Mary.
