Tawas Point State Park

Today we went to Tawas City. We walked around downtown and after that we drove even further to Tawas Point State Park. There we visited the lighthouse and walked down to Lake Huron. It is beautiful out there!

After the lighthouse we went to the beach where Martine, Nienke and Inge enjoyed themselves while Ellis and I tried to stay cool in the shade. I was totally OK with that arrangement as the sun coloured my shoulders in an unpleasant and sometimes painful shade of red two days ago...

Tomorrow we're driving back to East Lansing for the last days of our holiday!
