Leaving Au Gres

This shot is taken at a sort of pier in Au Gres. It's a weird thing. It's more of a boardwalk really and it doesn't seem to go anywhere. It takes you to a small patch of grass in between the reed and it doesn't go all the way to Lake Huron as one might expect. I don't know its purpose but I do know it's fun walking on it and then descending from it at the end. There are flowers, frogs and all sorts of insects to be spotted and especially Nienke loves that. I took quite a few shots of frogs and insects, mostly on Nienke's request. But in the end I liked this shot better. It is a bit like yesterday's blip but this time Ellis is in it too. Just to show you all she's still there :-)

After spotting the frogs we went back to the house for lunch and after that we had a two and a half hour drive back to East Lansing. Tomorrow will bring us a real blipmeet! You may have figured it out by now from comments and another blipfoto journal. If not you will just have to wait for one more day!
