Very Bleak

I was looking this morning at the journal of one of my subscribers who takes wonderful lakescapes and today he had used only one word: Bleak!.

Oh, I thought, I'm going down by the lake after work for a blip. Mine may be bleak too. However the sun shone in the afternoon, I had great hopes. I went as planned, at six, guess what?

It was VERY bleak!

... and I missed by one minute the best bit.... Glencoyne shore being invaded by pirates... from a canoe... six of them... complete with hats and swords!

Should have asked them to get back on the lake for me!
