Sync in the City

[backblip]

Headed off for a couple of days in Glasgow today with the family.

Started off with a bit of shopping in the afternoon, with first stop the Apple Store in Buchanan Street for us all. Even Samantha is surprised at how much she looks forward to stopping off in there nowadays, even if it is just to drool - then a boy girl split; girls off for clothes 'n stuff, boys off to Forbidden Planet and Hamleys.

After a quick dip in the hotel pool (for the other three at least, I had leisurely dip into a couple of Guinness instead as oops, how remiss of me, I'd forgot to pack my Speedos) we headed out for a some dinner in a very nice eatery around the corner. It never ceases to baffle me the routine that has to be followed when the female half of the Delph Wynd household are forced to go out in public. This includes a half hour of filling the room with hair dryer heated air and then some form of synchronised hair ironing sans ironing board or iron. Me and Euan skooshed some deodorant on and changed a shirt and we were good to go. Easy.
