Non-essential?

The pet food aisle - ain't got a dog.

This is the supermarket we now frequent. It's new. It's shiny. It's always empty. It's bliss! Unlike the local Chavda which is hell on earth, every hour, every day (the onsite McDonalds doesn't help.....)

I'd love to say supermarkets themselves are non-essential - we try to get as much as we can from other sources, such as milk from the milkman, organic veg box, meat from the butchers when we're near one. But in this day and age they are essential, but only because we've got used to them?
