Multi-touched

Bit of a geeky mac day today.

I've been clicking, scrolling, swiping, pinching & rotating like nobody's business with Apple's Magic Trackpad for a couple of days now, and it's a very nice bit of kit. I remember back to the days when the old boxy beige Mac mouse did only have one button and all it did was click and double-click. It's a real struggle going back to the older systems that still have these as I miss even the simple addition of a right-click that Apple did eventually cave-in and admit to being a real productivity and functional boost to the Mac experience.

There's a bit of a learning curve to using this trackpad to it's full potential but for editing photos I'm finding it a great tool and much more controllable than a mouse itself. Now, if they added pressure sensitivity to it too...

Also helped out a 'switcher' friend - who's just made the move over to Mac - get their head round some of the differences between Windows and OS X. Two cups of coffee and couple of hours later and he's now a Mac Genius. It's honestly that easy.
