Shadow Spokes

I managed to get out for a ride today in between recording training videos. While stopped waiting for a couple of others to join me I noticed the shadows of the spokes, and decided it was worthy of a Blip. Or at least more worthy than anything in my home office where I was going to be spending just about every other waking moment today.

I suppose it is only because I'm into cycling that I find the spokes of a wheel so incredible and beautiful. I put a lot of trust in those spokes, and think of them from time to time when I'm descending a steep hill at around 50 miles per hour.
