Stoatin' aboot

I don't know how far I walked today, but it was quite far. I ventured round the back of the Grange, up to Marchmont, through the Meadows, along the bridge with that stupid wee dog on it, down the High Street, up the High Street, down the High Street again, up the High Street again, back down the road with the stupid wee dog on it, through Teviot, and after some cheesy beans at the Metropole and a quick stop off at home, up Arthur's Seat for another glorious sunset, where, somewhat surreally, a set a bagpipes could be heard all the way from somewhere in Pollock Halls, no doubt fooling all the tourists up the hill that this happens every evening when the sun goes down.

Perhaps it does.

There can be no denying, Edinburgh is one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
