My Ashley

On Saturday, my granddaughter and I spent the day together. Its amazing how much she is like me. I think the traits skipped a generation, because her mother does not like any of the same things I do.
She is the best granddaughter; always kind to her old grandma, and so appreciative of everything I do for her; she brings joy to my heart.

I took this picture of her, as one of many, and I think she was a little quizzical here. I was trying to get her to smile or laugh, and this was about the best that it got.

She is staying the night tonight, and we will spend a little more time together tomorrow.

Sometimes, being a grandma isn't so bad.
