Young seal

I went back to Burray to photograph some flowers, but have posted this image, which isn't of a flower.

I'm not certain which kind, grey or common, it is. The books all talk of the grey's 'roman' profile, but I don't think that really goes for the youths. The bigger seal beyond looked like a grey, so I think this probably is too. It was quite curious and came close in. I often whistle or make various other noises to try and pique their interest, the kind we make to horses or whatever when trying to get them closer. Someone is bound to pass one day as I stand there looking out to sea and clucking, whistling or making kissy-face sounds, and that'll be my reputation shot.
