Back Home

I've just got in from Vancouver - tired, trying to stay awake until this evening to ward off the effects of jet lag. The fridge is empty but I'm sure I can last until tomorrow as I can't be arsed to go to Tescos.
I've pulled my dirty laundry out of the case and put it in separate heaps on the floor. Marianne would have hers in the washing machine by now and she'd be ironing tonight. Mine will probably get done tomorrow, with the ironing done by the weekend, and that's because she comes home on Sunday. I can leave a pile ironing untouched for days without feeling a pang of guilt.
Our cases tend to stay on the living room floor for a week, maybe two. We're slobs at heart.
