Swanning Around in Wellingborough

On my way to the shops this morning, I stopped down by the River Nene in Wellingborough (pronounced "Nen" in these parts, "Neen" everywhere else).
As usual, there were around three or four dozen swans about but they weren't in the mood to cooperate with me as most were too interested in grooming themsleves - swan's down was floating everywhere, on the water and in the air.
I took around forty shots, none of which I was really happy with. If I get the chance, I may go out later and try again.
