Today I went to say goodbye to my Auntie Nessie.

This was her last journey home to Scotland. She sadly died in April in Canada just short of her 89th birthday. Her son brought her ashes to be buried beside her husband.

Although they had emigrated to Canada in the '50s they both wanted to be buried in Scotland - they both got their wish.

It was good to meet up with the cousins and remember happier times.

We're now the older generation - scary!
