Vatican Museum

Mary and I visited the Sistine Chapel today and it's changed since the first time I saw it. Not the Chapel itself obviously, it hasn't been done over with anaglipta, but a whole new entrance has been created.

When I first visited Rome in 1973 you only saw the Sistine Chapel itself but now there is a two hour walk through the various rooms of the Vatican Museum finishing in the Sistine.

This is one of the gardens within the walls of the Vatican. It was an interesting experience thinking of all the people who have walked the same rooms and corridors.
