Bruce the Yowler

Bruce, as seen on here before is our special cat. I am taking a lot of pictures of him this month as I need a new camera and can not afford one yet, so I have to try to win one.

Anyway Bruce is not only a very independent cat but he is also a yowler. Meaning he communicates by using a strange yowl noise. Usually this is a bit annoying but on occasion it acts as a warning to us.

The way it works is that there are two types of yowls, the standard yowl and the substandard yowl.

The standard yowl is used for when he is hungry, sent to bed or when he comes in wanting to know where we are but can not be bothered to look for us.

The substandard yowl is a deeper longer note that Barry White would have been jealous about hitting. This noise means only one thing, he is going to be sick.

When we first hear this noise it is our 10 second warning, so we all drop everything run to the room he is in and either pick him up and lob him in the garden or grab some newspaper and put it in front of him. This warning is brilliant as it means we never have too much mess to clean up if he is unwell.

He may be a bit miserable and he may sometimes be a bit annoying but he is special and clever, he is our slobcat!

Oh and I backblipped for yesterday
