Desperately seeking

Oh What A Day!

It was our day out and it was the best summer's day there's been! A clear sky all day! The opportunities were there for shots of Buttermere, Crummock Water or Scale Force, a lovely waterfall. It was a four mile round trip, not to far but the going was rough underfoot and fairly steep.

Big mistakes:-
Not buying an ice cream on the way up at 10.30am, cost - nothing, it was closed at 6.30pm when we got down.
No suncream, cost - burnt arms.
No sun hat, cost - red face.
Losing glasses, cost - £500.

I hope the second and third can be dealt with by lashings of hand lotion and the latter by the household insurance.

Never mind the down side, we had a wonderful day out and are still enjoying ourselves eating, drinking and looking at each others shots. My choice for today's blip is Scale Force, , the highest waterfall in the Lake District. Chippy did part of the stream lower down.

I've had a great time with the Canon and ND filters plus trying out HDR which I have yet to process.
