Granite with Lichen

Today was cloudy and humid with rain off and on, at the family house in Tamworth NH (inherited by my cousin Chris). Not a very enterprising day for me, with a continuing sore hip.

But I did get out for this blip of a large granite post with lichen near our garage. Chris's brother Jim lives year-round in a house which he built across the road--just out of sight in the field in the background.
