Caged

Well that's it. The sun sets on another summer holiday for the DWDD (Delph Wynd Daily Delinquents). Back in their cages tomorrow.

Glad the sun shone tonight as Euan and I took a walk amongst the jaggy nettles and clouds of midges. A nice way to finish off the long leaky summer.

Shirts are set, schoolbags are ironed and alarms are packed. But, for the first time in 12 years, I'll not be around to take the traditional first-morning-back-picture, so it'll be down to Samantha to do the necessary in the morning. She'll do good.

Have a great first day back Hez and Slug, as well as everyone else out there who'll be seeing an hour of the day they've slept blissfully through for the past six weeks or so.
