Memories of going on a hunt ....

... a thimble hunt that is.

At the training course I was on yesterday, we were asked to share with the group something interesting about us that might not necessarily be apparent when people first meet us.

And boy were there some amazing stories - butler to Sean Connery, winner of the first ever Young Welsh Musician of the Year competition and close-up magician for 20 years were just some of the amazing stories.

And what was mine ......

Being on "Why Don't You" at the tender age of 13 showing off my amazing thimble collection.

The video of this momentous occasion (video purchased especially by parents) has been the bane of my life ever since it was recorded. And despite numerous requests over the years, I believe it has only been shown once.

And it will never ever ever ever be shown again.

Pink and white stripey dungarees with glasses the size of saucers is so not a good look - even on a 14 year old.
